Timothy J. Metcalf, 63, of 5811 #3 Rt 16, Hinsdale passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital, following a brief illness. Born May 30, 1958, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Lester M. and Monica Smith Metcalf. On January 29, 1983, in Belfast, he married the former Kathy Muckle, who survives. 
Tim had resided most of his life in Belfast and had attended the Belfast Central School, receiving his GED at a later date. He had been a cook at the Irish Kitchen Restaurant  in Belfast from 1976 until 1987. He also was employed at LC Whitford Co. from Alfred, Wellsville and Allegany as a truck driver. 
Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a bow and arrow hunter and Horse -shoe games for competition. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren. 
He was a member of the Truck Drivers union as a Teamster and member of the Belfast Betterman’s Assoc. 
Surviving in addition to his wife Kathy are 3 Sons, Shawn T. Metcalf of Wellsville, David Patrick Metcalf of Wellsville and step son, Brian Nickerson of Belfast; 5 grand children, Paige M. Metcalf, Morgan R. Metcalf, Mason M. Metcalf, Tristin T. Metcalf and Layne T. Metcalf; a brother, Dennis S. Metcalf of East Pembroke, NY; and several nieces and nephews. 
Tim was predeceased by his parents, a brother Michael Metcalf, Patrick Metcalf and a sister Delores Metcalf.   
Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast, Saturday January 8, 2022 from 12 noon to 2 PM. A graveside service is planned  at a later date, to be announced.
