Tiah L. Damerst, 20, of 12 West Water St., Friendship passed away unexpectedly in Rochester, NY on November 23, 2017. She was born July 12, 1997 in Lawrenceburg, IN and was the daughter of Stephen M. and Susan Kuzminski Damerst.
Tiah grew up in Friendship and was a graduate of Friendship Central School, class of 2015. She was employed at Highland Nursing Home in Wellsville where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Later she was employed at Cuba Memorial Hospital where she was also a C.N.A.
She loved all kinds of sports, especially basketball and volleyball. Her favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers, which she watched on TV. She loved her family and loved spending time with them.
Surviving besides her parents are two brothers, Justin Williams and David Williams both of Patriot, IN; four sisters, Samantha Phillips of Warren, PA, Nikita Phillips of Cuba, Cherish Damerst of Andover and Rearae Phillips of Patriot, IN; and two nephews.
Friends may call Friday December 1, 2017 at the Treusdell Funeral Home from 1-4 pm at which time funeral and committal services will be held. The Rev. Kirk Kirst, pastor of the United Church of Friendship will officiate. Online condolences may be made by clicking the button below.
