Randall R. “Randy” Brown

Randall R. “Randy” Brown Randall R. “Randy” Brown, 74 of 7480 Bowker Rd., Friendship passed away Saturday January 21, 2023 at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, following a lengthy illness. Born March 23, 1948 in N. Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of Robert and Maude Bowker Brown.

Randy graduated from Tonawanda High School in 1968, then served in the US Airforce for 4 years including a tour in Thailand. Upon discharge, he was employed at Harrison Radiator in Lockport. He returned to Friendship in 1975, where he worked as a truck driver for Frank C. Resch Distributing in Cuba, then finished his career with the Town of Wirt Highway Department.

Randy was a competitive fisherman, hunter and horse wrangler for the entirety of his life. In the later years, he loved vacationing at the lake with family and beating everyone at euchre.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Amber (Craig) Vaccaro of Lynnfield, MA and Jaimee K. (Kameron Austin) Brown of Friendship, NY; 3 grandchildren, Juliette Vaccaro of Lynnfield, MA, Emerson Austin of Friendship, NY and Edison Austin of Friendship, NY.

Randy was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Thomas, who died at birth.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 10am until 12 noon, at which time (12 noon) funeral services will be held at the funeral home.

The Rev. Robert Mackmer of Belfast will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship.
