Maureen L. Gormley, 85, of 20 South St., Belfast, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at Cuba Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born February 14, 1935 in Mansfield, England, she was the daughter of John W. and Eliza Ann Mumby Davenport. On July 5, 1952; she married Joseph B. Gormley who predeceased her on September 17, 2017.
Mrs. Gormley came to the United States and the Belfast area in 1949.
Surviving are two daughters, Laureen (Edwin) Stevenson of Holland, NY and Colleen (Wayne) Robbins of Belfast; four grandchildren, Ed (Tami) Stevenson, Kathleen (Kevin) Lafferty, Curtis (Kate) Robbins and Shane Robbins; four great grandchildren, Claire , Aidyn, Margaret and Lucas;
and two step great grandchildren, Mason and Samantha.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Doug, Stan and David Davenport; two sisters, Joan Van Buskirk and Winnie Campbell; and a great grandaughter, Allison Robbins.
