Linda E. Baham, 58, of 6138 Crabb Hollow Rd., Black Creek passed away unexpectedly shortly after arriving at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. Born February 3, 1957 in Cuba, she was the daughter of John C. and Genevieve Prentice Wells. On May 21, 1977, at the Belfast 1st Baptist Church she married Harry G. Baham, who survives.
Linda had resided most of her life in the Belfast area and was a graduate of Belfast Central School, class of 1976.After graduation for several years she was employed at Robinsons' Appliance factory in Castile. In 1994 she began work at Crown Y in Cuba and remained there until 2013 when she retired due to ill health.
She enjoyed knitting, gardening, fishing, hunting and traveling. She loved sports especially the Buffalo Bills, the Yankees and Buffalo Sabers. She had a special dog named "Fancy". Most of all she loved her family and time spent with them.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Harry are two sons, Harry G. Baham Jr., and Christopher M. Baham both of Black Creek; two sisters, Jean Baham of Rushford, and Brenda Gowdy of Buffalo; and several nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by a sister, Judy James.
Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast from 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday where funeral services will be held Thursday April 23rd at 1:00 pm. The Rev. David Ford, Pastor of the Angelica 1st Day Baptist will officiate and burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Belmont. Memorials may be made to the Angelica Rescue Squad.
