Jody L. Paul

Jody L. Paul, 57, of 104 South Main St., Belfast passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, following a lengthy illness. Born September 6, 1958 in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of Robert B. and Barbara A. Wilson Paul.

Jody had grown up in North Tonawanda, NY and Belfast. Later she attended a Nursing school in Vermont and received her Licensed Nursing Assistant . For many years she was a LNA in Burlington, VT where she worked at Health and Rehabilitation Center before retiring in 2009 and moving back to Belfast.

Jody was a collector of dolls and also collected replicas of bears and all kinds of nature animals. She was a cat lover and loved her cat Sadie and enjoyed shopping on line. Most of all though, she loved her family and spending time with them.

She was affiliated with the Belfast Free Methodist Church.

Surviving are her mother, Barbara Paul of Belfast; her father and step mother, Robert B.(Siggie) Paul of FL; two sons, Christopher D. Jackson of Wellsville, and Erik J. Ralabate of VT; three daughters, Corrie L. (Kyle) Ahrens of Wellsville, Christina (Jason) Houle of Gansevoort, NY, and Ashley (James) Ralabate of VT; five grandchildren; two sisters, Tammy (Michael) Mountain of Winter Haven, FL and Heidi (Brett) Ellsessor of Belfast; several nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Donna Jones of Hamlin, NY.

Jody was predeceased by grandparents, Woodrow and Carrie Wilson.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast, NY Tuesday March 22, from noon to 2 pm at which time (2 pm) funeral services will be held. The Rev. Robert Mackmer, pastor of the Belfast Free Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Belfast. Memorials may be made to the Belfast Rescue Squad.
