Janet L. Kuhn, 54, formerly of Belfast, passed away, unexpectedly on Monday, December 19, 2016. Born December 14, 1962 in Cuba, she was the daughter of James A. and Mary N. Harrington Jelleson. On August of 1984 at St. Patrick's Church in Belfast, she married Kevin Kuhn I, who survives.

Janet grew up in Belfast and was a graduate of Belfast Central School, class of 1980. She graduated from Mercyhurst University in Erie PA. with a major in Hotel Restaurant Management in 1984. For 27 years she was an HR executive for YUM Brands/KFC in Louisville, retiring on December of 2016.

She enjoyed traveling in the US and other Countries. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson.

She was a past member of the St. Patrick's Church in Belfast and former vice president of the Nevada National Organization for women.

Surviving besides her loving husband Kevin of 32 years are her parents, James and Mary Jelleson of Belfast; a daughter, Ashley (Ryan) Errisson of Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Patrick (Christina) Kuhn of Evansville, IN, and Kevin Kuhn II of Las Vegas, NV; a grandson, Asher Errisson of Las Vegas, NV; a brother, Terry (Jodi) Jelleson of Medina, OH; two sisters, Joan (Don) Cobb of Belfast, and Glenda (Cyrus) Katrak of Concord, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast Wednesday Dec 28, 2016 2-4 and 7-9. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 pm on Wednesday. Prayer will be said on Thursday December 29, 2016 at 10:30 am, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick's Church at 11:00 am. The Rev. Dennis Mancuso, Pastor will be celebrant and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Belfast. Memorials may be made to a choice of the donor.
