Fredrick W. “Fred” Warner

Fredrick W. “Fred” Warner, of 6073 Hess Rd., Belmont, 87 passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at Harts Comfort House of Allegany Co. Wellsville, NY, following a Lengthy illness. Born December 17, 1935 in Friendship, he was the son of Orville and Lucy Whitwood Warner. On July 10, 1954 in Wellsville, he married Molly A.Kuhne who survives.

Fred had grown up in in Belmont, attended the Belmont Central School and was a graduate from there, class of 1954. All of his life, Fred was a dairy farmer. He worked for his Father- in- law for 4 years and then he bought the farm and for the next 50 years, owned and operated the business.

He loved his horses, riding and driving them. He and loved his family and spending time with them. He also enjoyed driving his truck most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

He was a member and vice president of the Farm Bureau of Allegany Co., Member of the Farm Credit of Allegany Co. He was a 4H leader and a fifteen- year board member of the Allegany Fair.

Surviving besides his wife Molly are 2 Sons, Brent F. (Wanda) Warner of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Dean M. (Della) Warner of Angelica; 3 daughters, Robie (A.) Nenno of Twin Falls, ID, Marlies (Roland) Nelson of Cheyanne, WY and Susan C.Lewis of Pocatello, ID; 11 grandchildren and 10 great gandchildren and several GG grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Fred was predeceased by a son, Timothy Warner; 2 brothers,Thomas Warner and Richard Warner; and 2 sisters: Reva Simons and Dora Dalton.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship on Tuesday March 21, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. The Rev. Larry Hoyt Pastor of the St Paul’s Lutheran Church on Basswood Hill will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
