Edward J. Schmid, Jr. 45, of Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, New Jersey, passed away Thursday December 8, 2016, following a lengthy illness. Born June 16, 1971 in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of Edward and Patricia A. Orecchil Schmid Sr.
Edward had resided most of his life in Cliff Side Park, NJ and had graduated from the
High School there. He moved to Clinton, NJ in 1988. He attended the Catholic Church in both Cliff Side Park and in Clinton.
Edward enjoyed music very much.
Surviving are his mother Patricia A. Schmid of Houghton; a brother, Anthony Musselwhite of Scranton, PA; two sisters, Tina Maione of Olean, and Kris Ann Ferraiole of Bradford; and three nieces and nephews, Phillip Musselwhite of the Friendship area, Anthony Mazzone of Bradford, and Krystal Ferraiole of Bradford.
Edward will receive Catholic rites at the Treusdell Funeral Home in Friendship. The Rev. Dennis Mancuso, Pastor of St Patrick's Church of Belfast, will officiate. Online Condolences may be expressed by clicking the button below.
