Diana G. Langdon, 85, of 20 Maple Ave., Friendship passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Highland Park Nursing Home, Wellsville, NY, following a lengthy illness. Born October 4, 1937 in Wellsville, NY, she was the daughter of Gerald W. and LaVera (nee Dake) VanDyke. On October 15, 1955, in Belvidere, NY, she married Richard H. “Dick” Langdon who predeceased her on January 25, 2017.
Diana grew up in Belvidere and attended and graduated from Belmont Central School class of 1955.
She graduated from JCC – Olean Campus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services.
She enjoyed music, art, crafting, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Friendship, Eastern Star as a former Most Worthy Grand Matron, as well as a proud member of the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are 2 sons, Richard H Langdon II of Bath and Frederick V. (Letitia Hale) of Olean; 3 daughters, Dawn M. (Skip) Keiser of Friendship, Patricia K. (Dennis Smith) Warnica of Andover and Alison E. (Donald) Greene of Andover;
15 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Diana was predeceased by her parents; brother – Gerald; and great granddaughter Melanie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Friendship, NY.
