Charlotte M. Hull, 97, of 8359 Vreeland Rd., Caneadea, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Cuba Hospital, Pallitive Care Unit, following a brief illness. Born May 29, 1921 in Little Genesee, she was the daughter of Major Francis and Ruth Raymond Lockwood. On April 14, 1940 in Gainsville, she married Stanley J. Hull who predeceased her 0n November 4, 1987.
Charlotte had grown up on the Lockwood Rd in Caneadea and attended the Crawford Creek District School. She had been employed at Motorola in Arcade for several years, retiring in the early 80's. She with her husband had worked on the family farm.
She enjoyed playing cards, loved gardening, her houseplants and an avid collector of many things. Most of all she loved having her family close and doting on all the little ones.
She attended the Oramel Methodist Church and the Crafty Belles in Belfast. She was a fifty year plus member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Post # 1504 in Belfast.
Surviving are a son, Charles L. "Chuck" Hull of Belfast; a daughter in law, Judith Hull of Caneadea; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 29 great great grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Connie) Lockwood of Belmont;
a sister, Ellen Guilford of Zephyrhills, FL; a sister in law, Jane Lockwood of Caneadea; and several nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was predeceased by daughter and son in Law, Ethel and Jim Hunt; a son, David Hull; a great grandson, Ryan Hull; sisters, Athlene, Ethel and Marion; and a brother, James Lockwood.
Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast 1-3 pm Sunday, November 25, 2018. Where funeral services will be held immediately following at 3:00 pm.. The Rev. Craig Beulow, pastor of the Caneadea United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Oramel Cemetery, Town of Caneadea. Memorials may be made to the Belfast American Legion, Post # 1505 or the Belfast Ambulance Squad.
