Charles C. Schuster

Charles C. Schuster, 73, of 12 Tracy Ave., passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, following a lengthy illness. Born November 8, 1948 in Batavia, NY, he was the son of Clifford C. and Ella Weaver Schuster. On September 26, 1970 in Perry, NY, he married the former Brenda L. Greene, who survives.

Charles attended school at Perry High School, then, serving with the Army in Vietnam as a medic in combat, and receiving his GED from the Army. For many years, Charles was a CNA at Wyoming Co. Community Hospital in Warsaw from where he retired in 2005.

He was an avid BINGO player, enjoyed hunting and was an avid Buffalo Sabres fan, attending the games as well as watching them on TV. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them. He touched so many hearts with his love he had.

He was a member of the Friendship Ambulance Squad and later, the Wellsville Ambulance Squad.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Brenda are 3 sons, Clifford C. (Christina) Schuster of Attica, Kevin D. (Kelinda) Schuster of Horntown, VA and James M. (Samantha) of Nunda; a daughter, Tamara L. (Rob) Harrington of Freedom, NY; adopted daughter, Michele Webster of Belmont; grandchildren, Brandon (Jessamine) Gallagher, Alicia (Steven) Higley, Dawson (Makayla) Gallagher, Magan “May May”, Brian, Timothy, Nicole, Kyla, Tristen, Viktorea, Jason (Iliana) Harrington, and Adam Harrington; several great grandchildren; 2 sisters Donna Pierce of Wiscoy and Katharine Frantz of Batavia; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece Connie Dunham of Angelica.

Charles was predeceased by 3 Brothers, Donald “Roe” Schuster, Wayne Schuster and Robert “Bobby” Schuster; and 2 sisters, Meridith “Rita” Greene and Betty Schuster.

There will be no visitations or funeral service at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship. A celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date, to be announced. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
