Bonnie J. Gee

Bonnie J. Gee, 71, of 11 Penna. Ave, Apt. 203, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at her home. Born January 30, 1947 in Hornell, NY, she was the daughter of Clarence and June Rogers Perkins. She was married to Gerald Gee.

Bonnie grew up in Spring Water, NY where she attended the Wayland NY Central School. Following her Schooling, She moved to Avoca and was employed at the Gunlock Co. business for several years. She then moved to Wellsville and for a time was a health care worker in the area. For 23 years she was bartender in the Wellsville Morrison Hayes American Legion Post # 702. For the past 7 years she resided in Friendship.

Bonnie loved her family and loved spending time with them.

She was a member of the Wellsville Morrison Hayes Legion Post # 702; the Ladies Auxiliary and the color guard of the legion. She also was a member of the Wellsville Moose Club Lodge # 601.

Surviving are two daughters, Teresa J.(Tobi Torrey) Boyd and Tracy L. (Mark) Boyd both of Friendship; two step sons, Tim Gee of Texas and Mike (Dea) Gee of Long Island; two step daughters, Karen Gee and Kathy Gee both of Schenectady; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Stanley Perkins, Ronald (Tracy) Perkins and Roy Perkins all of Prattburgh, NY; two sisters, Dixie (Mike) LaPoma of Avon and Laurie (Bill) Partridge of Bath; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship from 2-4 pm on Friday December 28, 2018 at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Calvin Smith, pastor of the Belfast Free Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Erwin Cemetery, Spring Water, NY. Memorials may be made to the Wellsville Morrison Hayes American Legion, Post # 702. Wellsville, NY 14895.
