Barbara Ann “Barb” Lamb

Barbara Ann "Barb" Lamb, 74 of 4211 Rt 275, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at her home following a lengthy illness. Born September 30, 1944 in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Jesse and Josephine Baxter Warner. On June 29, 1962 in Obi, she married Earl W. Lamb who survives.

Barb grew up in Friendship, attended the Friendship Central School and later went to BOCES in Belmont awarded her GED where she became an LPN. She was employed at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville as an LPN and there she became an LPN2. Barb worked at Jones Hospital until her retirement in 2004.

Barb enjoyed traveling with her husband and their dogs and cats in their motor home across 47 states. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

She was a member of the Steam engine Clubs and for many years was head of the Friendship Little League concessions. She was Den Mother for Cub Scouts and Webelos.

Surviving besides her husband Earl are two sons, William E. (Tamara) Lamb of Conway, SC and Leon E. (Lori) Lamb of Bolivar; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a brother, Michael Warner of Friendship; a sister, Deborah (James) Murphy of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.

Barb was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ann Lamb; and two brothers, Roy Warner and Gary Warner.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday December 21, 2018, where funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Robert J. Mackmer of Belfast will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship. Memorials may be made to the Hart Comfort House, 141 E. State St. Wellsville, NY 14895.
