Audrey J. Robbins

Audrey J. Robbins, 84, of 11 Penna. Ave., passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Cuba Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born August 19, 1931 in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Wesley and Martha Saunders Beach. On October 7, 1950 in Wellsville she married Donald W. Robbins who predeceased her in 2007.

Audrey grew up in Wellsville, attended and graduated from Wellsville High School class of 1949. After her marriage to Donald, she and her husband moved to Whitesville, Angelica and Cattaraugus as Donald worked for Agway and was transferred to those towns. She came to Friendship in 2012.

She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, traveling to Florida, spending many winters there with her husband, watching TV, and playing BINGO. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

Audrey attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Cattaraugus and the United Church of Friendship.

Surviving are three sons, Donald P. (Marilyn) Robbins of Leroy, NY, William L. Robbins of Cattaraugus, NY, and Gary J. (Annie) Robbins of Rockwood, TN; two daughters, Barbara J. (Brad) Botens of Wayne, NY, and Diana (Kirk) Kirch of Friendship, NY; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Theresa) Beach of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.

Audrey was predeceased by a son, James Robbins; and three sisters, Alice Padden, Betty Dieter and Gladys Brisbee.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship, on Saturday November 28, 2015 from 11-1 pm at which time (1:00 pm) funeral services will be held. The Rev. Kirk Kirch Pastor of the United Church of Friendship will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville. Memorials may be made to the United Church of Friendship or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Ave. Suite 310 White Plains, NY 10605.
