Anna L. Burrows, 77, of 45 Grover St. Apt. # 3, passed away in her home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 following a lengthy illness. Born June 30, 1946 in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Harold and Doris Bolum. On September 9, 1975, in Wellsville, she married Frank Burrows, who predeceased her in 2007.

Anna graduated from Wellsville High School, class of 1965. She had been a clerk at Bells Super Market in Wellsville as her first job. Later she became a Certified Nurses Assistant working as a CNA in the following places, Manor Nursing Home, Highland Nursing Home and Jan and Bev’s facility all of Wellsville. Houghton Nursing Home and Hospice in Olean, were other places Anna worked. She had also been a waitress At The Modern Diner Restaurant in Wellsville.

Anna enjoyed her family and spending time with them especially her Grandchildren.

She was a member of the Wellsville Creative Art Center.

Surviving are 2 sons, John P. Murphy Sr. and Duane E. Urbanic both of Wellsville; a daughter, Vicki J. Mandigo of Governor, NY; 22 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; a sister, Connie Morris of Hornell; and several nieces and nephews.

Anna was predeceased by a son, Dean Murphy; a sister, Mary Prentice; and a grandson, John Murphy Jr.
